UNOFFICIAL MINUTES OF TODAY’S PATIENTS GROUP MEETING
In this meeting patients were outnumbered by Practice Staff, and as a result the meeting was more a casual discussion than an official meeting.
There have been several changes to staff on all levels, Doctors, Nursing Staff, and in administration.
We would like to congratulate receptionist Rahima and her family on the birth of their baby, on December 17th.
We are pleased to say that the number of patients using the on-line services are gradually increasing. Please remember that there are an array of services available on line. For the full list please contact reception.
You don’t even have to wait in queues to be booked in for your appointment. There is now a self check-in service you can use in the reception area. The more people who use this facility, the shorter the queues will be.
Reception area with auto check-in. Keep an eye on the screens for your name to come up, so you know where to go.
It was agreed that we need to attract more patients to attend group meetings. I will therefore look at making some fliers, cards and posters to be used in reception and once designed will be produced by the Practice.
When you now come into the practice, you will notice that many of the consultancy and nurse’s rooms have been renumbered, so please be sure to be in the right place for your appointment.
Be in the right place for your appointment.
We were informed that there is now a non-religious Carers Drop-In center now in operation at the Bhuddist Centre in Roman Road.
The identification of patients who are either Military Veterans and/or Carers, who will require more specialized support will be addressed, with file markers as appropriate.
The date of the next meeting is:
Wednesday 1st April 2020
at 5.00pm
