ABILITY BOW HAVE HAD TO REDUCE THEIR SERVICES FOR LACK OF FUNDING
Ability Bow, the only specialised gymnasium for the long term disabled, based in Bow, at the heart of the East-End of London, has already had to drastically reduce the services they offer, and unless some funding comes their way, may even have to close completely, leaving the hundreds of disabled people they support from across London without the vital service they provide.
They are urgently seeking funding or sponsorship from any suitable source. They are already using Crowd Funding, and tried the National Lottery, along with hundreds of other possible sources. Do you know anyone or any organisation who could help them out.
It’s evil really, isn’t it. Organisations like Ability Bow save the DWP and NHS a small fortune with the services they provide. But you try getting their support – they’ll give it gladly – as long as you don’t ask them for money. They should never have to go cap in hand for financial scraps.
If any of you would like to make a stand to help them, it would cost you nothing to sign their Save Ability Bow Petition, which is here.
I have put a circular they have had to send out here, just to give you an idea how desperate they are.
There must be someone out there……………
